World Class Yarn Shop

January 10, 2011

I managed to get the January and February classes on the class web page and out in a newsletter. It can be so frustrating working with different programs. I put something here and then it moves to there. I add a word and the whole page changes in position. There are little gremlins that move things around.
Although the temperatures say it is warmer, I don’t believe it. It still feels like below zero. But Emma knows the difference and I had a heck of a time getting her in this morning. Even dangling a chicken neck for her didn’t do the trick. She was rutting around for some rodent under the snow. Terriers are Terriers, even when they are Yorkshire Terriers.
I was looking for Bud Houston’s daily blog when his wife Marsha emailed that Bud was injured in a car accident. He is shook up but no bones broken. The car is totaled. As our insurance agent once said accidents are called accidents because they are. We don’t plan on them, hence the need for insurance.
It being Monday, I have to get the garbage out this morning. Monday is our long day and the Monday Night knitting group are here in the evening. It gets to be a long day but also gives me a chance to catch up on some knitting projects. I still have one pair of boots left to knit for 2010 Christmas presents. Then I have two more felted slippers that I have promised people that I would knit. I only knit them for family or I would never get done.
The clock is chiming 8 so I need to get busy. I still need to eat breakfast and have my morning coffee.
Have a great peaceful day – make the most of it as it is a gift from God and we never know when it will be our last.

On Every page on our website is a box where you can put your email and you will have then joined the newsletter list. Hope that this helps.
